Scenario Builder

ARTMACS scenario is a concept (materialized by a file on hard disk) that includes all elements required for an ATC simulation (an exercise as we call it). Scenario Builder is a simple to use scenario creation/modification tool. It can be used by instructors to define elements like: airspaces, 2D views of airports, sectors, air routes, taxiways, traffic, weather, etc...

Some elements (or objects) that can be created/edited through a user-friendly multi windows interface:

• Object browser to facilitate quick access to scenario elements
• Maps including country borders and shorelines
• Airport 2D views, runways, taxiways, gates
• Airport weather and lighting system
• Individual 3D clouds, buildings
• Traffic, vehicles, people, bird flocks
• Sectors, waypoints, routes (including SID and STAR), restricted areas
• Significant weather areas, en-route wind
• Map symbols like navigational aids, obstacles, special marks, etc…
• Shapes and text
• Time and date of the exercise
• Etc…
